Daniel Norton Sr. - born on October 12th, 1754 married Winney Mitchell - born on April 29th, 1763.  They were a family of Sumter/Sumterville District, South Carolina.  They had around 16 or 17 children.  The children are as follows....

13)   Timothy Norton          14) John Norton              15)   Richard Norton          16)   Samuel Norton

17)   Jabez Norton

 

     There is a letter from Jabez that states one of the above named children could be Washington Tyre's Parent.  My documents show that it is not one of the above named....That it is the Unknown Norton.
